Business Re-assessment: "Marine" Asian Restaurant
After reading all critical evolutions, which are given to us, by other team members, it gave us an opportunity to better understand our weaknesses and strengths, that we can use them to reduce our disadvantages, which can impact on us in the future, and also make then our advantages. Some of the comments, which we have been collected from others shown below:
Weaknesses:
There are some weaknesses that the restaurant have which are they are not specialized in the type of food which makes them difficult to maintain their good quality product. And there is a lot of competition who is doing the same business as them, makes it the restaurant very hard to get a lot of customer and needs some very good quality of food to makes them compete with others restaurant around Perth.
Action to take:
We are responsible for quality of the food and Asian food is much similar to each other, that means it is not difficult no specialized on quality of the food. And as we mentioned many time we are different from others and it means we do not have much competirors in the market.
Weaknesses:
It looses its effect on its budget and projected net profit. information and promotional campaign is week.
Action to:
We will try keep out budget in optimum level for the future too, because if we increase our budget it means we have to increase our price and it will cause more competition.
Also we are going to work on our promotion, we will focusing on our strengths and on a market segment at the bigining and after wile we will change our strategy to involve more customer.
Weaknesses:
Some things which I didn’t liked are- It will be bit difficult to run a business like this because they have to arrange chefs from different countries and they all will work together in same environment so they will have some difficulties in working together.
Action to:
As I mentioned above Asian food are very similar, especially all three countries on which we are focusing our menu and our chefs have no problem to cook wide menu, because before to open the restaurant we trained our staff, they learned all menu and how to cooked, just after our satisfaction we are including that type of food in our menu and menu do not change often, we can just add more food or re-change it after long time. It gives opportunity to our staff work in a same way.
Strengths:
strength about this restaurant which are there are unique because they combine three different types of food in one place so that customer doesn’t need to change places to enjoy different kind of food. They have a quite reasonable price for their product so that customer will buy their product.

This is a very good business because it not only focusing on their profit, but at the same time the business is also concern about consumer’s health where they use fresh and organic ingredients.

The amount of money to invest the business is not too big ($100,000) and turnover to half ($50,000) within a years. Another good thing is restaurant has wide range menu to provide varies food come from different Asian countries, which will be plus in attracting customers.
